How to Force Enable DLSS4 in ANY Game

Prerequisites:

DLSS 4 Will Work if:

– Only games which natively has DLSS.

– Must have an RTX graphics card.

– You must exit the game to enable DLSS4 and then relaunch it to work. You cannot do it mid-game.

DLSS 4 Forced can:

– Cause issues with Anti-Cheat software.

– Cause instability in games.

The Nvidia App will only enable DLSS4 on supported games. If another game is not supported you will need to use DLSS Swapper and Nvidia Profile Inspector.

1. Download and install the following (Links Below):

– Nvidia App (If you want to use it then download the others

below v) (Optional if using NVPI)

– DLSS Swapper (You Must)

– Nvidia Profile Inspector (NVPI) (Optional if using Nvidia App)

2. Open DLSS Swapper
   1. Click the settings icon bottom left.
   2. Find DLSS Developer Options
   3. Using the drop down menu select Enable for all DLSS DLLs

This is how we will determine if DLSS4 has been enabled.

3. Method 1: Nvidia App
   1. Go to graphics setting
   2. If the game you want here is not available click the three dots and click refresh OR press add game.
   3. Click the game you would like to enable DLSS4 on and on the right side of the screen scroll down till you see “Driver Settings”.
   4. Click DLSS Override – Model Presets
      1. You Can enable this one of two ways the first is:
         1. Use same settings for all DLSS technologies select the drop down menu for Latest and click apply.
         2. Use different settings for each DLSS technology. Click the Super Resolution drop-down menu, then click Preset K, which is the latest (Preset J, I believe, released with DLSS4), and click Apply.
   5. DLSS4 has now been applied to the game you selected. Please refer to step 5 to check if your game has successfully enabled DLSS4.
4. Method 2: DLSS Swapper and Nvidia Profile Inspector
   1. Open DLSS Swapper and find the game you want
   2. If the game you want here in the top right click refresh OR press add game.
   3. Click the game you would like to enable DLSS4 on.
   4. Next, on DLSS, click the number, and then a menu will come up with DLSS versions.
   5. Please click the latest number i.e. v310.2.1 and click swap once downloaded the download icon will disappear.
   6. Click swap once again on the latest number. You can repeat this for DLSS Frame Generation and Ray Reconstruction if you wish if available.
   7. We have now update the DLSS Version for your selected game.
   8. Now open Nvidia Profile Selector.
   9. You have two options for Nvidia Profile Selector the first is to use the global driver settings this will apply the DLSS4 profile to ALL games. This can be a problem in online games if the anti-cheat doesn’t like it.
   10. The second option is to use the drop down menu in the top left to select the game you want to apply the settings for. If the game is not there, you can add it.
   11. Once you have decided which you want, either Global or Invidiual games, find the menu that says 0.2 – DLSS Overrides.
   12. Once here apply these settings:

FG Latest DLL: On

RR Latest DLL: On

SR Latest DLL: On

SR Preset: Preset K

5. Check if DLSS4 has been enabled
   1. If you get into a game in which you enabled the DLSS settings and have the following step 2 to enable the onscreen overlay, you can now see in the bottom left-hand corner if the DLSS model has been updated.
   2. It Should now say Render Preset: K, which is the updated model. If it doesn’t then DLSS4 has not been enabled. The DLSS version should also be updated, for example, to v310.2.1.
6. Remember to disable the overlay in DLSS Swapper by following step 2 and changing the overlay to none.
7. You now have DLSS4 Enabled for your selected game. Enjoy!
