RTX 3070 in 2023, Is 8GB VRAM Enough?
*PLEASE NOTE REBAR WAS DISABLED FOR THESE BENCHMARKS!!!
*I made a mistake on the Control DX12 benchmark saying that I destroy 2 rows on desks, but I actually destroy 3 in the benchmarks.
*Hey, just adding on from a comment on YouTube. I watched my video and HWUnboxed’s video side by side, and yes, I could immediately tell mine is very similar to theirs.
I subconsciously copied the style of the video from HWUnboxed again I really do like watching HWUnboxed content, and I have been watching them for ages.
I’m sorry about this and will be improving my own editing style of this type of content.
Again I have to apologize to HWUnboxed (if you see this 🙂 ), as I didn’t realize this until it was brought up, I know that subconscious copying is still copying.
This is my first type of graphed benchmark, and I will have my own style going forward. Thanks for the feedback.
Have a good day! 😀 -YS
I have 13 games to benchmark here, from AAA to Esport Titles. 4 of these games will be benchmarked using their ray tracing settings. All of these games will be tested in 1080p and 1440p, with overall comparisons given at the end. I have also included a price comparison and cost-per-frame data.
There is no Overclock on CPU, RAM or GPU, nor is there any tuning.
XMP is on the RAM, DLSS is turned off, frame rate is uncapped, vsync is off, and NVIDIA Low Latency will be turned off, if it’s turned on I will let you know in which games.
NOTE that 1440p benchmarks will be taken using DSR as I do not have a native 1440p monitor; this should provide very similar results to native 1440p.
