I GOT SCAMMED – LOCKED HARD DRIVE

Sometimes you win sometimes you get scammed.

I was so hyped to finally get a hard drive to back up all of my data off my dying hard drive. It was going great, a brand new hard drive, only $60, and its 2TB! But low and behold when I received the drive, things did not go to plan. Unusual as it was when I plugged the hard drive into my computer, the computer came up with a weird error… A hard drive lock!! Basically this completely locks me out of the hard drive from use. It was a password lock that is stored on the hard drive.
