I got a RX 9070XT!
Simple unboxing of the ASRock RX 9070XT Taichi OC. It’s a pretty cool card with a triple slot design and an interesting black/bronze colorway. It also comes with a three-year warranty in New Zealand, which is awesome compared to the other AIBs :D. Let’s have a look at unboxing the card and a simple install. 🙂
Here is the video unboxing the ASRock RX 9070XT Taichi:

A quick note on the power draw from the card.
This card can draw up to 350W if on full load, so head over to PCPartPicker if you’re on something below a 750W PSU just to get a rough idea of how much wattage your system could potentially use with the RX 9070XT. Generally, if you are using something like a low-power consumption CPU like an R5 5600 with not much else in the PC, 750W should be more than enough. In my case, I know my build has a lot in it, with it potentially coming close to 684W-700W estimated, leaving not much leeway to the Corsair RMx 750 (750W) power supply that I have installed.
It’s a bit of an interesting story about how my PC ended up, but that’s a story for the next video. Stay tuned! 😀
