This will be completed later, sorry guys :/

GPU Checklist

Photos & Condition

☐ Are the photos real, not stock or reused images?
☐ Do you see clear shots of the front, back, ports, and serial sticker?
☐ Any rust, oxidation, or corrosion visible?
☐ Any dust baked into fins, oily marks, or brown staining near power plugs?
☐ If photos are blurry or seller refuses clear ones → Move on.

Price & Seller Profile

☐ Is the price realistic compared to recent local sales?
☐ Does the seller have consistent feedback and history (not new or hacked-looking)?
☐ Any fake urgency like “must sell today” or “bank transfer only”?
☐ If price is way below average with no explanation → Move on.

Payment & Pickup

☐ Avoid bank transfers without protection.
☐ Use Ping, Afterpay (Trade Me) or PayPal Goods & Services for buyer protection.
☐ Meet in a public, daylight area and bring a friend.
☐ If the seller refuses both buyer protection and pickup → Move on.

Proof Before Buying

☐ Ask for one uncut video showing:
• Cold boot to desktop
• GPU-Z with correct model, memory, and bus interface
• MSI Afterburner temps and fans
• Short Heaven/Superposition/3DMark run
• Username and date visible in frame
☐ Compare benchmark scores with normal results for that model.
☐ If the clip looks off, throttling, or missing info → Move on.

Serial, Receipt & Warranty

☐ Is the serial sticker visible and not scratched off?
☐ Ask for the purchase receipt if available.
☐ Check whether the warranty transfers to a new owner and if it’s valid in your country.

Physical Inspection Points

☐ Check PCIe edge, power connectors, and IO bracket for rust or heat marks.
☐ For 16-pin connectors, look for melting or warping (avoid early CableMod adapters).
☐ Check fans spin freely, no wobble or damage.
☐ Check backplate screws and warranty sticker intact.

Questions to Ask the Seller

☐ Is it fully working? Any crashes or artifacting?
☐ Has it been used for mining, and for how long?
☐ How long have you owned it, and are you the first owner?
☐ Where was it purchased?
☐ Has it ever been opened, repaired, BIOS flashed, or repasted?
☐ Does it still have a warranty?
☐ What are normal temperatures in a benchmark or game?

Testing On Pickup

☐ Confirm GPU outputs a display.
☐ Open GPU-Z and verify specs.
☐ Run a short 3DMark or Kombustor test.
☐ Watch for artifacting, lines, black screens, or thermal throttling.

After Buying

☐ Film your unboxing for proof.
☐ Install with dedicated PSU cables (no cheap splitters).
☐ Use DDU before switching brands.
☐ Test in AIDA64, OCCT, and your usual games.
☐ Compare scores with public averages.
☐ If temps are abnormally high → consider repaste & pad replacement.

Repaste & Clean

☐ Remove dust carefully — don’t spin fans with air.
☐ Clean GPU die with isopropyl alcohol.
☐ Apply new paste + correct pad thickness for your model.
☐ Avoid cards with heavy corrosion or green residue on the PCB.

Mining Card Risk

☐ Mining cards aren’t always bad — but price them lower.
☐ Prefer proof of proper use (temps, scores, clean photos).
☐ Plan to repaste and maybe replace fans sooner if you buy one.

Red Flags = Move On

☐ Stock or stolen-looking photos
☐ Missing or damaged serial
☐ Price far below normal with urgency
☐ Bank transfer only, no pickup
☐ No uncut proof video
☐ Rust, liquid stains, burn marks
☐ Melted 16-pin connector
☐ Crashes or black screens under light load
