I played Dragonball Sparking Zero but IN MY CAR?! – PC/PS5 Remote Play
I have a couple of games that I was able to play pretty easily in my car. Ratchet and Clank Rift Apart, Ghost of Tsushima, Shadow of the Tomb Raider, and even the new Dragonball Sparking Zero were all really fun to play. Find out how easy this is to do and if it’s actually playable in my car!

Article Notes:
I am using an Android Head Unit from AliExpress and it was a little bit hard to install as I had never done this before. It took around two and a half hours to install, including reversing the camera. You need to make sure you have all of the correct wire harnesses for the car; otherwise, you will run into problems. Also, make sure that it fits the fascia of your car before buying one. I’ve had mine for a couple of months now with not many issues that I can think of, and it has full Android, which is handy for installing any app that I want. This is the main thing that allows me to use my PC or PS5 in my car on the go.
I also temporarily replaced the Wi-Fi antenna that came with the head unit from my PC, as I got a slightly better signal on my phone. Unfortunately, the USB C Ethernet chartering didn’t work properly with my Android head unit.
Apps needed:
It’s really easy to do this. All you need for PC is a Steam Remote play enabled.
For PS5, you either need PS Remote Play, which didn’t play too well on my Android Head unit, or PXPlay, which is $12NZD.
PXPlay is a lot better, in my opinion, but you will need to port forward to allow your traffic into your network so that the PS5 remote play can work properly.
Keep in mind there might be some lag or even input lag when using remote play or mobile data. I was on 5G, and it was alright, but some games like Sparking Zero were playable but a bit laggy.
I also found that the PS5 games were smoother than my PC from pure observation. You can click the links below to see more gameplay from the PC and PS5.
